ART 209-1 Pottery, 4 credits (Ty Bender)

Studio work in clay and mixed media with experience in techniques of hand building, beginning wheel throwing, and glazing. This course is a student participation course. Assignments are made that quickly move a student's knowledge from beginner to student potter in a short period of time. The student will be taught the technique of hand building, molding, wheel throwing, clay making, glaze calculation, and other necessary information to complete the clay experience.
