MODERN LANGUAGE 692-1 Paris: A Capital Experience, 4 credits (Isabel Rivero-Vila, Mathilde Launay)

Come to Paris, one of the most exciting and intellectually
stimulating cities in the world, and have first-hand
contact with everyday French civilization and culture.
Learn about gothic art by looking at Notre-Dame, about
French cuisine by tasting it, and about the French people
by meeting them. The instructors, Carthage professors,
Isabel Rivero-Vila who lived in France and Mathilde Launay
who is French, will lead daily tours to points of interest
(Eiffel Tower, Le Louvre, Le Moulin Rouge..) and provide
lectures on French history, art and architecture. Day field
trips to Normandy and Versailles also at the program.
