The Carthage Spring Scholarships

What?

• One full tuition scholarship and one $20,000 per year scholarship
• Renewable for up to 3 years
• Each competitor will receive a minimum $500 grant toward tuition
• Competition includes 20-minute interview and 50-minute essay
• Information sessions provided on academics and student life at Carthage

Who?

• New full-time degree seeking freshmen and transfer students admitted to Carthage for Spring 2012. (New full-time student teachers and new full-time social work students completing field placement are not eligible for this competition.)
• Complete at least 12 transferable credits at an accredited college or university
• Students with fewer than 12 transferable credits need to have a 3.0+ on a 4.0 scale cumulative high school GPA and a 22+ ACT composite (1020 CR+M SAT composite).
• Cumulative college GPA of at least 2.75

When?

• Application deadline: November 21, 2011
• Invite-only on-campus competion: Saturday, December 3, 2011.

• Complete the Spring Scholarship Application
• You must be admitted to Carthage to be eligible for the Spring New Student Scholarship Competition. You can apply for admission online.
