FacilitiesThe Art Keller Athletic Field, is a 2,100-seat, lighted facility and is covered with AstroPlay turf, a surface comprised of soft, low-abrasion nylon fibers surrounded by rubber granules, popular with top professional and collegiate sports programs. Installed over a sophisticated drainage system, the turf offers excellent traction regardless of weather, and can accommodate intensive use in a succession of games and practice sessions. The Pike Bike Trail, which connects to the campus, allows you to tour the surrounding area on foot, bicycle, or inline skates. The scenic trail runs along the Lake Michigan shoreline, past two historic lighthouses, through three National Register Historic Districts, and more. Dedicated during Homecoming 2001, the N. E.
