Enrichment and Continuing Education
Carthage offers a Continuing Education program designed to meet the needs, concerns, and interests facing people in today's society. People involved in various types of human resource work can find material appropriate to their job responsibilities. Many course offerings are particularly suited to teachers, who may receive the credits required by the Department of Public Instruction for licensure renewal.

Students Accelerated in Learning (SAIL) - Gifted and Talented Program for students in grades 1-8.
We are offering several of our Continuing Education courses through two-way instructional video conferencing via the statewide network. As part of this network, schools across Wisconsin have installed two-way video classrooms where participants in more than one classroom can see and hear participants from all of the other locations. Take a look at what video networked offerings we have available this summer in Teaching and Personal Development.
At the time of registration, you will have the opportunity to provide preferred video network locations that may be closer to your work or home. The exact off-campus sites that will provide the two-way video conferencing for Carthage's SWING Network will be determined at a later time.
Since course materials are often provided to participants, we kindly request that distant learners register a minimum of one week prior to the first class meeting to provide sufficient time for the confirmation of off-campus sites and the delivery of materials. However, arrangements can be made for express delivery at the student's expense for late registrations.
Continuing Education courses are available for undergraduate or graduate credit in a pass/fail or graded format or for audit.
Rather than mailing confirmations and grades to our participants, student records have been made available via our Advising and Registration Module. To set up your account, please contact the Office of the Registrar at (262) 551-6100.
We are always looking for suggestions of classes that would be of interest for future inclusion. If you have any suggestions, please e-mail ldahl@carthage.edu. If you hold a master's degree, we encourage you to consider teaching a course. You can share your proposal with us by completing our online Course Proposal Submission Form. If you have any questions, call Lynn Dahl at (262) 551-5924.
When you are ready to enroll, a registration form (PDF) is available for you to print out. If you are registering for the genealogy workshop, use the Introduction to Genealogy workship registration form (PDF).
