Advising Center Mission & Purpose

The first-year Advising Center will facilitate each freshman student's successful entry and transition to Carthage, with primary focus on the academic transition. The purpose of the first-year advisor is to cultivate a significant, lasting engagement between the student and Carthage College. See information on advising and registration.

Office Location and Hours
The Advising Center is located in the lower level of the Madrigrano Family Residence Hall. Students can access the Advising Center directly using the doors near the sand volleyball court, or through the main doors of Madrigrano Family Residence Hall. Upon entering the main doors, use the stairwell located to the left to access the lower level, and turn right to find the Advising Center.

Office Hours: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
