Students who wish to purchase a computer should do so through the College's purchase plan to get a recommended model at a discount price. Purchasing must be done on-line through this web site.

About the Plan
Carthage offers students the opportunity to purchase an Apple or IBM/Lenovo laptop and related accessories at competitive prices through the Student Computer Purchase Plan. We have specifically selected a single model of laptop computer with adequate speed, memory and drive space; popular features such as CD-RW/DVD drive, wireless and wired network access, and warranty coverage; and a price that should appeal to students.

Warranties

IBM/Lenovo computers purchased through the plan include on-campus hardware repair for the period of the warranty. We recommend AppleCare 2-year coverage be purchased for Apple computers for 3 total years of protection.

We encourage students who purchase a computer to also purchase Microsoft Office software, which is our standard for word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software. Using the standard campus software will provide you with the maximum compatibility and support available. An excellent educational price is available through the link above.
