How to Permanently Accept a Certificate in Internet Explorer 7

1. In the address line of your browser, type webmail.carthage.edu
2. When a warning about accepting a certificate appears, click to continue.
3. On the Webmail login screen, click on the Security Certificate link.

4. When prompted, click on Open.

5. When asked to confirm, click on Allow.

6. When the property box of a Certifcate appears, click on Install Certificate

7. When a dialog box appears, click on Next to run the Import Wizard

8. Click on the button to install certificates in a ‘certificate store’.
9. Click on the Browse button

10. Click on the Trusted Root Certificate entry. Then click on OK

11. Click on Next to continue.
12. Click on the Finish button.
13. Click on OK.

14. Click on OK to close the certificate property screen.
15. You may get a Security Warning asking to confirm the Installation. Click Yes.

15. Quit your browser program completely.
16. Open the browser and return to the Carthage webmail login.
