Using Draft mode

The maximum idle time on an e-mail session is two hours. That means that, if you do not click Send or change from one message to another, your e-mail session will be "disconnected." In order to avoid losing a message that you have been working on for a long time, you can use "Draft Mode." Follow the instructions below:

  1. Create a Drafts mailbox:
On the Mailboxes screen, type "Drafts" (without the quotes) in the box at the top and click on the Create Mailbox button.

  2. Enable the Save Drafts option: The above steps need only be done once. Then, when typing a message that you want to save and continue editing later, follow the instructions below:

  3. Save Draft:
At any time in authoring a message, click on the Save as Draft button on the Compose screen.

  4. Continue Editing your Draft: You may click on Save Draft again to save multiple drafts or click Send when you are finished.
