If you have a problem connecting in your room, please do the following:
- Make sure your room is not on the turned off rooms list. If it is, click here to learn about certification.
- If you are using a hub, click here to read about how to properly connect it.
- Read these instructions on how to configure your connection.
- Check all of your physical connections to make sure that they are plugged in properly and tightly.
- If you are in a residence hall, read these instructions about NetReg and how to register your computer.
- If you are trying to connect wirelessly, make sure you have contacted the Information Desk in Hedberg Library to get the proper SSID (Network Name)
- Try the steps listed in this troubleshooting guide.
- Make sure your computer meets the requirements listed here.
- Make sure you have our Symantec anti-virus software, that definitions are up-to-date, and that you have no viruses on your computer.
- Restart your computer.
