Have you ever been lost in the library?  Learn about the challenging and rewarding life skills of how to read a map and use a compass. 

There was a lesson on the basics of how to use a compass, how to take a bearing, and how to measure a pace. 

After these skills were mastered, then a challenge was offered to complete an orienteering course.  There were two orienteering courses setup in the lower level of the library for the children to navigate with a compass. 

We did not lose anyone!
