The library Family Fun Night presentation was by Max Yela, Head of Special Collections at the Golda Meir Library in Milwaukee. Mr. Yela has a unique approach to books as an art form. The focus of the evening was how an artist sees a book as a canvas. The illustartor envisions the book as a two dimensional and four dimensional object. The art inside of a book is like the architecture of a building that takes us to magical places.
Everyone had the opportunity to create their own accordian book. At the end of the evening everyone had produced their own book and will never be able to look at a book the same way again.
