Gamma Theta Upsilon (GTU) the Geography fraternity at Carthage presented the Family Fun Night activities. Participants learned new skills and developed a general understanding of concepts of geography and their contributions to society.

The basics of how to use a compass to follow directions and land marks was the main focus of the evening.

Since the weather permited we went outside to explore Carthage land marks. Is Lake Michigan north, south, east or west? We also discussed the basic formats of maps. It was an enjoyable evening of exploration.
