Carthage graduates [See Benefits Available to the Carthage Community]

      Retired Carthage staff.

UW-Parkside students, faculty, administrators, and staff.

Clergy in Kenosha and Racine counties.

Individuals who purchase a fee card for $25 per year.

What is needed to check out library materials?

In order to check out any library materials, full-time students, faculty, administrators, and staff must present a currently valid Carthage ID card.

Part-time students, faculty and staff who do not have a Carthage ID card must come to the library Circulation desk and fill out an application form to receive a Carthage library card.

On the back of either the Carthage ID card or the Carthage library card must appear a barcode with a 10 digit barcode number. If the barcode is not present, please inquire at the Circulation Desk.

You are responsible for everything charged out on your card. Never lend your card or any materials checked out on your card to others.

What types of material can be checked out?

The following material can be checked out:
Books, videocassettes, and other material located in the General Collection; media equipment and library laptops.

Material that cannot be checked out includes:

Videocassettes - 7 days
Reserve material (varies with the type of material) -

How do I renew material I have checked out?

Circulating material may be renewed unless someone else has placed a "hold" on them. Library material can be recalled at any time.  Carthage faculty and administrators can keep material for one term unless recalled.

In order to renew library material,  either bring the material to the Circulation Desk and request a renewal or renew the material online.

All library materials are due at the end of the term.
