Carthage has welcomed many distinguished guests, nationally and internationally known, over the years. Many are widely published and/or extensively written about. Some have books in the Hedberg Library; others have fulltext articles among the 21,000 plus periodical titles licensed to the library. These webpages were compiled to allow the Carthage community to become acquainted with, as well as remember, our guests through their works.

Off-campus members of the Carthage community—current students, faculty, and statff—will need a proxy for most online articles. Other patrons are welcome to read the material in the Hedberg Library, and Wisconsin residents may be able to access selected items at home through BadgerLink.
Although every effort is made to keep these webpages up to date, frequent changes of vendors, publications, and URLs may occasionally make it necessary to repeat a search in order to locate a given item.
