AGRICOLA (AGRICultural OnLine Access) is a database of bibliographic records created by the National Agricultural Library.

BadgerLink

BadgerLink is a project of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) whose goal is to provide access to quality online information resources for Wisconsin residents. Many EBSCO and ProQuest materials are the same as those provided by Carthage. Access is authenticated primarily by registered Wisconsin Internet service providers (ISPs), with library card access and technical support facilitating other Wisconsin residents' use of BadgerLink. 

EDGAR
US Securities and Exchange Commission 
Filings and Forms

All companies, foreign and domestic, are required by the SEC to file registration statements, periodic reports, and other forms. EDGAR is the database of those corporate disclosure reports.

Entrez PubMed

National Library of Medicine's search service provides access to over 14 million citations for biomedical articles in Medline and other related databases back to the 1950s, with links to participating online journals.  Search the database of Medline journal title abbreviations and their corresponding full titles.

ERIC

The Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC), is a national information system that provides services and products on education related issues. Established in 1966, ERIC is supported by the U.S. Department of Education and the National Library of Education.     
Bibliographic database of information about environmental concerns, such as global warming, energy conservation, natural resources, and pollution, going back more than 35 years. Some fulltext.

HLAS Online

The Handbook of Latin American Studies is a bibliography that adds over 5,000 works annually.  Disciplines covered are anthropology, art, economics, electronic resources, geography, government and politics, international relations, literature, music, philosophy, and sociology.

IngentaConnect

Ingenta incorporates Uncover and indexes over 27,500 periodicals in the physical, natural, and applied sciences, humanities, and social sciences. The database can be searched free of charge, but table of contents and document delivery services are fee based.

Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA) indexes more than 600 periodicals, plus books, research reports and proceedings. Subjects include librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s.

NAICS

Classification System)

NAICS is a widely used classification system that groups economic units together according to the goods or services they produce.

netLibrary

netLibrary contains over 7000 ebooks that can be read online. To "check out" a book, Carthage patrons must first create a free account by using a campus computer, not by remote computing or  proxy. Once this is done, the patron's username and password can be used to read netLibrary books on an off campus computer.

Teacher Reference Center

TRC indexes over 260 teacher and administrator trade journals, periodicals, and books. It covers such topics as assessment, continuing education, current pedagogical research, curriculum development, instructional media, language arts, literacy standards, science and mathematics, and more.

Thomas:
Legislative Information on the Internet

This Library of Congress fulltext database includes major legislation, bills, public laws, the Congressional Record, roll call votes, Congressional committee reports and some hearings, historical documents, and information about the legislative process.

Thomas Register

Thomas Register is a comprehensive online resource for finding companies and products manufactured in North America.
