Four Carthage Men's Tennis Players Named All-CCIW

Four Carthage College men's tennis players were named to the 2008 All-CCIW team.  Carthage’s Miguel Yunes (Sr., Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico, 21-5) was named first-team All-CCIW and “Co-Men’s Player of the Year” with Josh Williams of Wheaton College (Ill.).  Sergio Lopez (Jr., Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico, 19-7) earned first-team all-conference honors and was named CCIW Men’s Tennis Championship tournament MVP.  Jack Schiro (So., Shorewood, Wis., 20-7) joined Yunes and Lopez on the first team, while J.T. Delk (So., Wheaton, Ill./North, 14-13) was named to the second team.  Carthage coach Brady Lindsley earned CCIW “Men’s Tennis Coach of the Year” honors for the seventh time.
