Bosko Djurickovic begins his 13th season as Carthage’s head coach in 2008-09 after a stellar career (1985-1994) at North Park University. With the Vikings, Djurickovic coached two NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship teams, one in 1985 and the other in 1987. He is one of 13 active coaches to have won two or more national titles. His 22-year record is 398-187 (202-108 in 12 years at Carthage, 196-79 in 10 years at North Park,), an overall winning percentage of .680. His 369 career wins starting the 2007 season placed him 36th all-time among NCAA Division III coaches, and his .690 career winning percentage (369-166) was ranked 28th nationally among active coaches.
Djurickovic's CCIW winning percentage (.670, 217-107) is the fifth-best in the 62-year history of the league, and his 217 victories are second only to Illinois Wesleyan University’s Dennie Bridges. His teams in the mid 1980s set an NCAA Division III record with 62 consecutive home wins from February 1984 to February 1988, and five of his players were named National Association of Basketball Coaches All-Americans. All 10 of his North Park teams were nationally ranked at some point in their seasons.
In addition to his two championship squads, Djurickovic's North Park teams made NCAA appearances in 1986 and 1990. His Carthage teams made NCAA appearances in 2000, 2001 and 2002, finishing third in the nation in 2002. He was named Basketball Times "Coach of the Year" in 1985 and National Association of Basketball Coaches/Kodak Division III "Coach of the Year" in 1987. Prior to assuming the Vikings' men's basketball duties, Djurickovic served as an assistant from 1975 to 1984 when North Park won an NCAA-record three consecutive Division III tiles in 1978, 1979 and 1980.
Djurickovic served also as North Park's head baseball coach from 1977 to 1994 and the athletic director from 1987 to 1990. While at North Park, he served as the chair of the NCAA Division III Baseball Mideast Regional Championship Committee from 1988 to 1990 and chair of the NCAA Division III Baseball Central Regional Championship Committee from 1991 to 1994. While at Carthage, he served as a member of the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Central Regional Championship Committee. Djurickovic and his wife, Becky, live in Pleasant Prairie, Wis., and have three children: Amanda (21 years old and a Carthage graduate), Steve (age 20 and a Carthage sophomore) and Pete (age 18). Becky Djurickovic was the women’s basketball coach at North Park University for six years (1987-89 and 1993-95) and the girl’s basketball coach at Kenosha Bradford High School for three seasons (2004-06).

Dave Roehl begins fourth year as assistant coach in 2007-08 after serving five years as a part-time assistant coach. A native of Menasha, Wis., Roehl attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where he graduated in 1977 with a bachelor's in physical education and health. He served as the boy's basketball and baseball coach at Somers Shoreland Lutheran High School from 1979-98. In addition to his men’s basketball duties, Roehl will begin his sixth year as Carthage’s head men’s golf coach in 2007-08.

John Weiser begins his eighth season in 2008-09 as the “Voice of the Red Men” and his fifth season as the “Voice of the Lady Reds” on WRJN-AM Radio in Racine, Wis. Weiser is a familiar voice in the Kenosha-Racine sporting community, doing play-by-play for local high school football and basketball since 1990. He’s been with WRJN-AM since 1999. A native of Kenosha, Wis., and a graduate of St. Joseph High School, Weiser did cable access television play-by-play for the Midwest League Kenosha Twins from 1988-1992 and radio for the Kenosha Kroakers between 1994 and 1995. He is also the host of All-Star Bowling on WPXE TV out in Milwaukee and has served as afternoon drive co-host on ESPN radio, also in Milwaukee. In addition to his radio duties, Weiser is the recruitment coordinator for the Carthage College School of Professional Studies and coach of the school’s club bowling team. Weiser received his bachelor’s in business administration from Marian College (Wis.) in 1992. He and his wife, Gina, and their 12-year old daughter, Rebecca, reside in Waterford, Wis.
Antoine McDaniel begins his fifth year as a part-time assistant coach in 2008-09 after serving as graduate assistant coach in 2004. A native of Schaumburg, Ill., McDaniel had an outstanding four-year playing career with the Redmen between 2000 and 2003. He was named National Basketball Coaches Association first-team All-American in 2002, “D3hoops.com” second-team All-American in 2002, NABC first-team All-Midwest Region in both 2002 and 2003, the Fred Young Most Outstanding Player in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin in 2002, and All-CCIW four-straight years, third team in 2000, second team in 2001 and first-team all-conference in both 2002 and 2003. McDaniel finished his career ranked ninth on the Carthage career scoring list (1,618 points), 10th in field goals (544), seventh in field-goal attempts (1,255), first in three-point field goals (190), third in three-point field goal attempts (449), second in three-point field-goal percentage (.423), seventh in free throws (340), eighth in free-throw attempts (422), third in free-throw percentage (.806), third in assists (295) and fourth in steals (137). He graduated from Carthage in 2003 with a bachelor’s in exercise and sport science, and he is currently the assistant director of sports programs at the Kenosha Boy’s and Girl’s Club.
Theo Powell begins his second year as a part-time assistant coach in 2008-09. A native of Streamwood, Ill., Powell lettered four times for the Red Men between 2001 and 2004. He was named All-CCIW twice, third team in 2003 and first team in 2004. Powell is ranked 23rd on the Carthage career scoring list (1,052 points), fourth on the career field-goal percentage list (.576), fourth for blocked shots (83) and 11th for rebounds (595). He set a Carthage season record in 2004 with 449 rebounds. Powell played professional basketball in the Euroleague for two seasons. He was a member of the Dornbirn Lions in the Austrian League for the 2005-06 season and the Limerick Lions in the Irish League in 2006-07. He graduated from Carthage in 2004 with a bachelor’s in marketing and is currently a substitute teacher in the Kenosha Unified School System.
Cory Wilson begins his seventh year as a part-time assistant coach in 2008-09. A native of Kenosha, Wis., Wilson lettered four times for the Red Men between 1995 and 1998 and graduated in 1998 with a bachelor’s in music. He previously served as a part-time assistant coach for the Red Men in the 2000 and 2001 seasons after a stint as a graduate assistant coach in 1999. He returned to the Red Men for the 2004-05 season. Wilson, currently a sales representative for the Chicago-based General Packaging Products, Inc., was the head women’s golf coach at Carthage for the 2005-06 season, and the boy’s basketball coach at Prairie High School in Racine, Wis., for both the 2002 and 2003 seasons.
