High School:  Named All-Western Sun Conference, Daily Herald all-area, Kane County Chronicle all-area, and Aurora Beacon-News all-area both his junior and senior years…coached by Rob Wicinski…lettered three times in track and field and earned all-conference honors as a junior…National Honor Society member, academic all-state, Western Sun Conference all-academic and three-year honor student.

Personal:  Exercise and sport science major…thrower on the 2008 and 2009 Carthage men’s track and field teams…his uncle, Larry Frey, played basketball at Illinois-Chicago and is a member of that school’s athletic hall of fame…named to the spring 2008 Carthage dean’s list and to the fall 2008 Carthage athletic director's honor roll…born Oct. 12, 1988.
