2007:  Played on the junior varsity team. 

High School:  Named Rockford Register-Star All-Big Northern Conference his senior year…coached by Mike Lalor…four-year member of the baseball team and played basketball his freshman year…honor student.

Personal:  Criminal justice major…his grandfather’s cousin, Jay Berwanger, played football at the University of Chicago, was awarded the first-ever Heisman Trophy in 1935 and was also the first-ever player drafted by the NFL in 1936…born Oct. 3, 1988.
