High School:  Named first-team all-state his senior year by both the Associated Press and the Indiana Football Coaches Association, as well as first-team All-Northern Indiana Conference and South Bend Tribune all-area…his senior-year team won sectional and regional titles en route to a runner-up finish at the Indiana High School Athletic Association Class 3A state championship…coached by Kevin Downey…two-year member of the baseball team.
