My hope for Joe this year is that he can stay healthy…he’s had a career that has been riddled with injuries, he’s had several surgeries while at Carthage, and he has never been able to play a complete season…he had his first-ever healthy off-season this past year.

2007:  Played in five games and made one start…collected seven tackles (6 solo, 1 assisted).

2006:  Played in seven of the first eight games…broke an arm in the Oct. 28 Millikin contest and missed the rest of the season…credited with four tackles, including two tackles-for-loss.

High School:  Named All-Mid-Suburban League, conference defensive MVP and Daily Herald all-area his senior year on a 9-0 league-championship team…his junior-year team also won a league title…coached by Mike Donatucci…two-year member of the volleyball team…honor student.

Personal:  Exercise and sport science major…born March 9, 1988.
