Nate was an All-CCIW player in 2007 and that means he was one of the best linebackers in the league…it’ll be the same in 2008…he plays extremely hard and extremely smart…a guy that a coach can count on.

2007: Named second-team All-CCIW…Played in nine-of-10 games and made eight starts…team’s fourth-leading tackler with 49 (44 solo, 5 assisted), including a team-leading six tackles-for-loss and three sacks…forced one fumble, intercepted two passes, broke up one pass and credited with one quarterback hurry.
2006: Played in all 10 games…credited with six tackles, including one tackle-for-loss…blocked a kick at Illinois Wesleyan on Oct. 7.
2005: Attended Mount Union College and was on the 2005 football roster…transferred to Carthage in January 2006.
High School: Named All-North Suburban Conference, All-Lake County and all-area both his junior and senior seasons on teams that qualified for the state playoffs…coached by Del Pechauer…four-year member of the baseball team and named all-conference and all-area two-straight years…four-year honor student.
Personal: Exercise and sport science major…named to the fall 2006 Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born April 5, 1987.
