2008: One of five individuals selected to play in the NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship and finished in a four-way tie for 15th place with a 76-73-77-74-30…earned Golf Coaches Association of America/PING second-team All-American honors…earned All-CCIW honors and shared the lead at the CCIW Men’s Golf Championship with Illinois Wesleyan’s Chris Green but lost a four-hole, sudden-death playoff for medalist honors…shot a 74-69-75-76-294 at the CCIW championship…compiled a Carthage-record and team-leading 73.5 season average and set a Carthage record with a career-best round of 65 on the second day of the Sept. 29-30 Wisconsin Lutheran “Fall Invitational”…won a school-record four tournaments, while finishing second four times, fourth once and fifth once…set a Carthage record with a two-day score of 135 at the Sept. 29-30 Wisconsin Lutheran “Fall Invitational.”
2007: Named Golf Coaches Association of America second-team All-America by tying for 13th place at the NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship with a 71-80-81-73-305… was in second place after the first day of the national championship with a 71, which matched his season-best round…finished second at the CCIW Men’s Golf Championship with a 76-79-73-80-308 and named All-CCIW…compiled a team-leading 75.5 season average…also matched his season-best round with a 71 on the first day of the Sept. 17-18 Edgewood “Fall Classic”…medalist at the Sept. 19 Carthage Fall Invitational…finished in the top-five at nine tournaments with five runner-up finishes.
2006: Earned All-CCIW honors and was the medalist at the CCIW Men’s Golf Championship with a 71-75-146…Carthage’s first conference medalist since Jason Langwell in 1996…averaged 75.5 with a season-best round of 71 on the first day of the March 24-25 Knox “Prairie Fire Invitational” and on the first day of the CCIW Men’s Golf Championship…finished third at the Sept. 22 Carthage Fall Invitational, won the March 24-25 Knox event, finished second at the April 7-8 Augustana (Ill.) Invitational and fifth at the April 18 Carthage Spring Invitational.
High School: Named All-North Suburban Conference and Pioneer Press first-team all-area both his junior and senior years…finished 20th at the Illinois High School Association state championship his junior year…all-conference as a sophomore…coached by Todd Parola…also a member of the soccer team.
Personal: Exercise and sport science major…named to the spring 2006 Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born Oct. 1, 1986.
