Dave Roehl begins his seventh year as Carthage’s head men’s golf coach in 2008-09 (459-143-9, 6 years). A native of Menasha, Wis., Roehl attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where he graduated in 1977 with a bachelor's in physical education and health. He served as the boy's basketball and baseball coach at Somers Shoreland Lutheran High School from 1979-98. Roehl, a long-time private golf instructor at Brighton Dale Golf Links in Kansasville, Wis., was also named Carthage’s men’s basketball assistant coach in February 2004 after serving as a part-time assistant coach since the fall of 1999. Roehl completed a three-year term on the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship Committee in 2008.

Rick Brandes begins his fifth year as a part-time assistant coach in 2008-09. A native of Kenosha, Wis., and a 1973 graduate of Tremper High School, Brandes is a former Wisconsin State Junior Amateur champion. He has been a golf and teaching professional at both the Lake Barrington Shores Golf Club and the Marriott Lincolnshire Resort in Lincolnshire, Ill., and a teaching professional for both Transcendental Golf in Kenosha, and at the Pine Meadow Golf Club in Mundelein, Ill. Brandes is currently an assistant vice president and senior mortgage lender for Johnson Bank in Kenosha.
Mike Roehl begins his third year as a part-time assistant coach in 2008-09 after a four-year playing career with the Red Men between 2003 and 2006. Roehl earned All-CCIW honors in 2006 with a sixth-place finish at the CCIW Men’s Golf Championship, which was won by Carthage. A native of Somers, Wis., Roehl is the son of Carthage men’s golf coach Dave Roehl.
