Roger is a steady and disciplined student-athlete…if you were going to write up qualities you like in a player, Roger is the definition…he has given us consistent minutes at midfield and defense over his career…we look for Roger to continue his contribution in 2008.

2007:  Played in 21-of-22 games and made 21 starts.

2006:  Started all 19 games…scored goals against Redlands on Sept. 2, North Central on Oct. 11 and Augustana (Ill.) on Oct. 21.

2005:  Played in 16-of-18 games and made nine starts…scored the game-winning goal against Robert Morris-Lake County on Oct. 22…collected three assists.

High School:  Named All-Central Suburban League, all-sectional and Daily Herald all-area as a senior and all-conference as a junior…coached by Mike Divincenzo…in track and field, earned all-conference honors his senior year as part of league-championship 3,200-meter relay team…Maine West “2004-05 Male Athlete of the Year”…National Honor Society member, Illinois State Scholar, Central Suburban League all-academic, honor student and graduated with honors…played for the Park Ridge Soccer Club team.

Personal:  Double major in mathematics and Spanish…mid-distance runner on the 2006 and 2007 Carthage men’s track and field team…named twice to the Carthage dean’s list…a four-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born March 30, 1987.
