2008:  Finished ninth in the 200 breaststroke (2:03.34), 13th in the 400 individual medley (4:05.28) and 24th in the 100 breaststroke at the NCAA Division III Men’s Swimming Championship…named College Swimming Coaches Association of America honorable mention All-America in both the 200 breaststroke and the 400 individual medley…CCIW champion in three individual events, taking first place in the 100 breaststroke (57.55), the 200 breaststroke (2:06.21) and the 200 individual medley (1:55.36) and a part of conference-champion relay teams in the 200 medley, the 400 medley and the 800 freestyle…named CCIW “Men’s Swimmer of the Week” after winning three events at Wabash on Oct. 27.

2007:  Finished fourth in the 200 breaststroke (CCIW open and Carthage-record 2:01.79), seventh in the 400 individual medley (4:04.86) and 11th in the 100 breaststroke (57.26) at the NCAA Division III Men’s Swimming Championship and earned College Swimming Coaches Association of America All-America honors for the second-straight year…set a Carthage record in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:02.05 in the NCAA preliminaries…finished second in the 200 individual medley (1:54.96) and fourth in the 200 freestyle (1:45.39) at the CCIW Swimming Championship…named CollegeSwimming.com NCAA Division III Men’s Swimmer of the Week after winning the 200 breaststroke against Northwestern on Jan. 13…named CCIW Men’s Swimmer of the Week on Dec. 5 after setting a Carthage record in the 200 breaststroke (2:05.23) at the TYR/CollegeSwimming.com Classic…named the Carthage “Frank Falduto Athlete of the Year” for 2006-07.

2006:  Finished 17th in the NCAA Division III 400 individual medley at 4:06.73 and named College Swimming Coaches Association of America All-America in the 800 freestyle relay…earned All-CCIW honors for winning the 400 individual medley (Carthage-record 4:06.02), finishing second in the 500 freestyle (4:40.51) and as part of a winning 800 freestyle relay team…also finished third in the CCIW 100 breaststroke (58.67)…named CCIW Men’s Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 7 with wins in both the 100 breaststroke and the 500 freestyle and a second-place finish in the 200 freestyle against Hope on Nov. 5…named CCIW Men’s Swimmer of the Week” again on Nov. 21 with a fourth-place finish in the 400 individual medley and a fifth-place finish in the 200 breaststroke at the Nov. 18-20 University of Minnesota Invitational.

High School:  Earned all-state honors his senior year with a sixth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke and a 10th-place finish in the 500 freestyle at the Illinois High School Association state swimming championship…sectional champion in the 500 freestyle his senior year, won the 200 individual medley tile as a junior and named Alton Telegraph “Swimmer of the Year” both years…coached by Pete Hayes…placed fourth in the 200 breaststroke and eighth in the 100 breaststroke at the 2005 YMCA National Swimming Championship short course…coached by Bill Miller and Nancy Miller with the Tri-Cities YMCA team and by Dave Stevens for HEAT Swimming…honor student.

Personal:  Double major in accounting and business administration…named to the spring 2007 Carthage dean’s list and a three-time member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…son of Charles and Julie Schranck…born Aug. 1, 1987.
