2008:  Competed on the 200 freestyle relay and the 200 medley relay teams at the CCIW Swimming Championship…named CCIW “Men’s Swimmer of the Week” on Feb. 5 after anchoring winning relay teams in the 200 medley, the 200 freestyle and the 800 freestyle at the Feb. 2 Wisconsin Private College Championship

2007:  Finished sixth in the 200 backstroke (2:09.53) at the CCIW Swimming Championship…finished third in the 200 butterfly at the Wisconsin Private College Championship…named CCIW Men’s Swimmer of the Week on Jan. 9…finished second in the 100 butterfly against Lawrence and North Central on Jan. 6.

2006:  Finished 10th in the 200 butterfly (2:07.99) at the CCIW Swimming Championship.

2005:  Finished fifth in the 50 freestyle and seventh in the 100 butterfly at the Wisconsin Private College Championship.

High School:  Part of a school-record 200 freestyle relay team…coached by John Carle…also swam with the Patriots Swim Club.

Personal:  Exercise and sport science major…named to the fall 2006 Carthage dean’s list and a two-semester member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…son of John and Becky Trella…born Feb. 11, 1986.
