Varsity and Club Sports 
FINANCIAL COMMITMENT
Uniforms are supplied by Carthage therefore the Red Hot financial responsibility is minimal. You are required to pay annual team dues of $30. New members will need to purchase their own black jazz sneakers $55, black and white cheer basics $40, tan jazz booties $30 a team warm-up $45, and lollies $8. There are various items that are optional each year, spirit-wear $15-$30, etc. Depending on the squad's plans, personal fundraising goals will be set for each team member. Summer Team members must also pay for Universal Dance Association (UDA) dance camp and campwear, about $350.
PERFORMANCES
Red Hots are responsible for promoting spirit and motivating the crowds at athletic events. Team members are expected to be respectful and proud of Carthage traditions, including school song, the pep band, and mascot. Attendance at all HOME Football and Basketball games is mandatory unless pre-arranged.
COMPETITION
The Red Hots currently are non-competitive, EXCELLENT, but non-competitive due to the time commitment competing would require. In February, we attend the Spirit of Hope College Dance Expo to give us a chance to see what other teams are up to and to show our moves.
