High School:  Four-year member of the water polo team and coached by Shana Mortensen…four-year member of the swimming team and earned All-Mid-Suburban League honors her senior year…National Merit Scholar and honor student.

Personal:  Double major in mathematic and physics…member of the 2008 Carthage women’s swimming team…sister of Rose Schiavone, who played on the 2007 and 2008 Carthage women’s water polo teams and was named Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-America both years…named to the Carthage dean’s list three times and a three-time member of the Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born Feb. 8, 1989.
