March 15-22 in the Tampa Bay area.: The team will fly from Mitchell Field in Milwaukee, Wis., on Friday, March 14, via Midwest Airlines, leaving at 7:30 a.m., CST and arriving in at the Tampa International Airport in Tampa, Fla., at 11:08 a.m., EST. The team will stay at the Best Western Suites in Tampa (3001 University Center Drive, 813-971-8930 or 800-786-7446) from March 14-21 and return to Milwaukee on Saturday, March 22, leaving Tampa at 7:07 p.m., EST and arriving in Milwaukee at 8:50 p.m., CST.
March 28-29 at Wheaton (Ill.): The Friday, March 28 single game versus Wheaton College (Ill.) will be played at Alexian Field in Schaumburg, Ill., while the Saturday, March 29 doubleheader will be played at Legion Field in Carol Stream, Ill. On March 28, the team will leave campus at 3:30 p.m., with a 9:30 a.m. departure time on March 29. To reach Alexian Field, home of the Schaumburg Flyers, follow I-294 around Chicago. Exit I-294 at I-90 west toward Rockford, Ill. Exit I-90 at I-290 south. Exit I-290 south at the Elgin-O'Hare Expressway west. Exit the Elgin-O'Hare Expressway at Irving Park Road/Springinsguth Road. Go under the expressway and turn left (south) on Springinsguth Road. Alexian Field is on the left. To reach Legion Field, follow I-294 around Chicago. Exit I-294 at I-90 west toward Rockford, Ill. Exit I-90 at I-290 south. Exit I-290 south at I-355 south. Exit I-355 south at North Avenue west. Continue on North Avenue for about five miles (go past Glen Ellyn Road, Bloomingdale Road and Schmale Road) and turn left at the Gary Street stoplight (look for the American Legion Post). Legion Field is about a mile down the road on the right side behind the American Legion Post.
April 1 at North Park: The team will leave campus at 10 a.m. and return immediately following the doubleheader. North Park plays its home baseball games at its on-campus baseball facility within the Holmgren Athletic Complex. To reach North Park University in Chicago, Ill.,, follow I-94 toward Chicago. Exit at Cicero Avenue and turn left at first light (Foster Avenue). Go two or three miles to reach campus, and the Holmgren Athletic Complex is two blocks beyond campus on the right.
April 5-6 at Millikin: The team will leave campus on Saturday, May 6 at 7:45 a.m., stay overnight on Friday-Saturday, May 6-7 at the Decatur Conference Center & Hotel (4191 West U.S. Highway 36, 217-422-8800) and will return following Sunday’s game. To reach Sunnyside Park, Millikin’s home baseball field, follow I-55 south to Bloomington. Exit I-74 east in Bloomington and go to U.S. Highway 51 south to Decatur. Follow Business U.S. 51 to downtown Decatur and turn right on El Dorado Street (U.S. Highway 36). Where the road splits at the bowling alley, stay right on U.S. 36 (now Fairview Street). Turn right on Columbia Drive and go about one mile (the Holiday Inn on the left is too far). Turn right at the sign for Sunnyside Park.
April 12 at Elmhurst College: The team will leave campus at 10 a.m. and return following the doubleheader. Elmhurst College plays its home baseball games at Butterfield Park in Elmhurst, Ill. To reach facility, follow I-294 around Chicago. Exit I-294 I-88 west (East-West Tollway). Take the first exit, which is the Oak Brook toll plaza. Take a quick right to the Oak Brook Shopping Center (22nd Street). Follow 22nd Street to York Road and go left on York. Go past Butterfield and take the next right to Butterfield Park.
April 16 at Marian (Wis.): The team will leave campus at 11 a.m. and return following the doubleheader. As of 2008, Marian College (Wis.) plays its home baseball schedule at Herr-Baker Field, near campus. To reach that facility, follow I-94 north to Milwaukee, Wis. Exit I-94 at I-894 west and exit I-894 at U.S. Highway 41/45 north. Where Highways 41/45 split, follow U.S. 41 toward Fond du Lac, Wis. Exit U.S. 41 at U.S. Highway 151 bypass east. Follow the bypass around Fond du Lac and exit at Johnson Street East (Wisconsin Highway 23). Take the first left at North Prarie Road. Go two blocks and turn left on Division Street to reach Herr-Baker Field.
April 19 at North Central: The team will leave campus at 9 a.m. and return following the doubleheader. To reach North Central College in Naperville, Ill., follow I-294 south to I-88 (East-West Tollway). Go west on I-88 and exit at Naperville Road. Turn right (south) at the bottom of the ramp and follow Naperville Road several miles south. Turn right at Chicago Avenue and continue for several miles. Turn left on Brainard and follow the road to the right to North Central College’s athletic complex and Zimmerman Stadium/Alumni Field.
April 22 at Lakeland: The team will leave campus at 9 a.m. and return following the doubleheader. To reach Lakeland College in Howards Grove, Wis., follow I-94 through Milwaukee. Exit I-94 at I-43 north to Green Bay. Exit I-43 at Wisconsin Highway 42 north of Sheboygan. Turn left (north) on Highway 42. Turn left at County Highway A. Turn right at County Highway M. Lakeland College will be on your left. Take the second drive and follow to Todd Wehr Center. The baseball field is behind the Todd Wehr Center.
April 29 at Aurora: The team will leave campus at 11:30 a.m. and return following the game. Beginning in 2007, Aurora University will play its home schedule at Solfisburg Park’s Joe Bernard Field in Aurora, Ill. To reach that facility, follow I-294 around Chicago. Exit I-294 at I-88 west. Ext it I-88 at the second Farnsworth Avenue exit in Aurora. Turn right off the ramp, go over the I-88 bridge and continue on Farnsworth Avenue for 2.3 miles, going past Sheffer Road. Turn right at Solfisburg Avenue. Turn right at Ohio Street, and the park is immediately on the left at the first stop sign.
May 4 in Rockford, Ill.: The team will leave campus at 8:30 a.m. and return following the doubleheader. Carthage’s May 4 doubleheader versus the University of Chicago and Rockford College will be played at Road Ranger Stadium in Rockford, Ill. To reach that facility, home of the Frontier League Rockford River Hawks, take Wisconsin Highway 50 west from Kenosha to Lake Geneva. In Lake Geneva, take U.S. Highway 12 to I-43 and follow I-43 south past Beloit and follow the merge for I-90 toward Chicago. Exit I-90 at the East Riverside Boulevard exit. Turn left off the ramp and continue for three-quarters of a mile. Turn left at Interstate Boulevard and continue into the stadium parking lot.
May 6 at Concordia (Ill.): The team will leave campus at Noon and return immediately following the game. To Reach Concordia University (Ill.), follow I-294 to Illinois Highway 64 east (North Avenue). Follow North Avenue past the Maywood Track and past First Avenue. Turn right on Harlem Avenue and right on Division. Go one block and turn left on Bonnie Brae. Take the second drive into the campus and the athletic complex.
