March 15-22 in the Tampa Bay area.: The team will fly from Mitchell Field in Milwaukee, Wis., on Friday, March 13, via USA3000 Airlines flight #862, leaving at 5:50 p.m., CDT and arriving the Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers, Fla., at 9:40 p.m., EDT. The team will stay at the Port Charlotte Holiday Inn Express (24440 Sandhill Blvd., 941-764-0056) from March 13-21 and return to Milwaukee on Sunday, March 22, via USA3000 Airlines flight #861, leaving Fort Myers at 9:45 p.m., EDT and arriving in Milwaukee at 11:35 p.m., CDT.
March 27 at Wheaton (Ill.): The team will leave campus at 11 a.m. and return following the game. Wheaton is playing most of its 2009 home schedule at Alexian Field, home of the Northern League Schaumburg Flyers in Schaumburg, Ill. To reach that facility, follow I-294 around Chicago. Exit I-294 at I-90 west toward Rockford, Ill. Exit I-90 at I-290 south. Exit I-290 south at the Elgin-O'Hare Expressway west. Exit the Elgin-O'Hare Expressway at Irving Park Road/Springinsguth Road. March 29 at the University of Chicago: The team will leave campus at 9 a.m. and return following the game. To reach the University of Chicago, follow I-294 south and exit at I-94 east to downtown Chicago. Exit I-94 at I-55 north to Lake Shore Drive south. Exit Lake Shore Drive at 53rd Street west. Go eight blocks and turn left at Woodlawn Avenue. Turn right onto 55th Street and proceed to Cottage Grove Avenue--you will see J. Kyle Anderson Field on your left. Turn left onto Cottage Grove Avenue, then turn left onto 56th Street. The entrances to Stagg Field will be on your left. Free parking is available after 4 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends in the parking garage located at the corner of 55th Street and Ellis Avenue. The garage is available to visitors for a fee at all other times. Free parking is also available on the street. Parking rules are strictly enforced. Please observe all signs in parking areas and on the street.
April 7 at Rockford: The team will leave campus at 11:30 a.m. and return following the game. Carthage’s April 7 game versus Rockford College will be played at Road Ranger Stadium in Rockford, Ill. To reach that facility, home of the Frontier League Rockford River Hawks, take Wisconsin Highway 50 west from Kenosha to Lake Geneva. In Lake Geneva, take U.S. Highway 12 to I-43 and follow I-43 south past Beloit and follow the merge for I-90 toward Chicago. Exit I-90 at the East Riverside Boulevard exit. Turn left off the ramp and continue for three-quarters of a mile. Turn left at Interstate Boulevard and continue into the stadium parking lot.
April 8 at North Park: The team will leave campus at 11:30 a.m. and return following the game. North Park plays its home baseball games at its on-campus baseball facility within the Holmgren Athletic Complex. To reach North Park University in Chicago, Ill.,, follow I-94 toward Chicago. Exit at Cicero Avenue and turn left at first light (Foster Avenue). Go two or three miles to reach campus, and the Holmgren Athletic Complex is two blocks beyond campus on the right.
April 10-11 at Illinois Wesleyan: The team will leave campus at 7:30 a.m., with hotel arrangements on April 10 TBA. To reach Illinois Wesleyan University, follow I-294 around Chicago. Exit I-294 at I-55 south. Exit I-55 at Business U.S. 51 south and go past Illinois State University. To reach the Illinois Wesleyan campus, turn left on Emerson Street and cross northbound U.S. 51. Turn left on Franklin Avenue (at the Shirk Center), and Jack Horenberger Field is on the left, just past the Shirk Center.
April 18-19 at Augustana (Ill.): The team will leave campus on Friday, April 17 and return following the Sunday, April 19 game, with hotel arrangements TBA. Augustana College (Ill.) plays its home baseball schedule at Augustana’s Swanson Stadium/Brunner Field in Moline, Ill. To reach that facility, follow I-294 around Chicago. Exit I-294 at I-88 west (I-88 becomes Illinois Highway 5 once past I-80). In Moline, follow Highway 5 and go past Menard’s, Target and Kohl’s. Turn left at 7th Street and left on 43rd Street to reach the facility.
April 22 at Concordia (Wis.): The team will leave campus at 11:30 a.m. and return following the game. To reach Concordia University (Wis.) in Mequon, Wis., follow I-94 north to downtown Milwaukee. At the I-94/I-794 junction, continue north on I-43 towards Green Bay, Wis. Exit at Wisconsin Highway 167 east (about 20 miles north of downtown Milwaukee). Turn right off the ramp. Just past the railroad tracks, turn left at Lakeshore Drive North. Follow Lakeshore Drive about two miles to the campus. After you enter campus, stay to the left and go through a building overpass and go past John Buuck Fieldhouse. The outdoor athletic facilities are on the left. Go past the football and soccer fields to reach Falcon Field.
April 26 at North Central: The team will leave campus at 9:30 a.m. and return following the game. To reach North Central College in Naperville, Ill., follow I-294 south to I-88 (East-West Tollway). Go west on I-88 and exit at Naperville Road. Turn right (south) at the bottom of the ramp and follow Naperville Road several miles south. Turn right at Chicago Avenue and continue for several miles. Turn left on Brainard and follow the road to the right to North Central College’s athletic complex and Zimmerman Stadium/Alumni Field.
May 3 at Elmhurst: The team will leave campus at 9:30 a.m. and return following the game. Elmhurst College plays its home baseball games at Butterfield Park in Elmhurst, Ill. To reach facility, follow I-294 around Chicago. Exit I-294 I-88 west (East-West Tollway). Take the first exit, which is the Oak Brook toll plaza. Take a quick right to the Oak Brook Shopping Center (22nd Street). Follow 22nd Street to York Road and go left on York. Go past Butterfield and take the next right to Butterfield Park.
