2011-12 Carthage Swimming Travel Plans

Oct. 28-29 vs. Albion/Hope/Olivet:  Carthage will compete against Albion College, Hope College and Olivet College at Lakeview High School in Battle Creek, Mich.  To reach the school, follow I-94 east through and around Chicago.  Continue to follow I-94 past Kalamazoo, Mich.  In Battle Creek, Mich., exit I-94 at Helmer Road north, and the high school is located at 15060 Helmer Road.

Nov. 5 at Lake Forest:  To reach Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Ill., follow U.S. Highway 41 south from Kenosha and turn left on Deerpath Road.  Follow Deerpath through the Lake Forest business district and across the railroad tracks.  Go through a stop sign, stay on Deerpath and turn right on Sheridan Road.  Go past the entrance for the middle campus and go past Rosemary Road on the right.  Turn right on Maplewood Road, and the Sports Center is on your left.

Nov. 18-19 at the Wabash Invitational  To reach Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Ind., follow I-294 around Chicago, Ill.  Exit I-294 at I-57 south.  Exit I-57 south at I-74 east.  Exit I-74 at U.S. Highway 231 (Washington Street) in Crawfordsville.  Go three blocks and turn right at Wabash Avenue.  Go four blocks and turn right at Crawford Street to reach the Class of 1950 Natatorium, which is located within the Allen Athletics and Recreation Center.

Jan. 7 at Lewis:  To reach Lewis University in Romeoville, Ill., follow I-294 around Chicago and exit at I-55.  Exit I-55 at Illinois Highway 53 (Exit 267) and follow Highway 53 south for eight miles through Romeoville.  Go past Romeo Road.  Turn right at University Parkway and follow the signs to the John F. Kennedy Sports Center.
