Bill Versen

Bill Versen was named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-America in 1977 with a first-place finish in the shot put and fourth in the discus at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship in Grand Rapids, Mich. Versen repeated as an All-American in 1978, placing second in the shot put, also at Calvin College in Grand Rapids.

 

Ken Kohler

Ken Kohler was named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-America in 1981 with a first-place finish in the 200-meter dash, fourth in the 400-meter dash and as a member of the fifth-place 4x100-meter relay team in Cleveland, Ohio.  Other members of that relay team included Bob Moore, Rodney McMurtry and Rick Baumler.  Kohler, a four-time All-CCIW honoree with first-place conference finishes in the 1980 400-meter dash, the 1981 200-meter dash and the 1981 400-meter dash, was inducted into the Carthage Athletic Hall of Fame in 1999.

 

Matt Malich

Matt Malich was named an U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-American in both 1996 and 1997 with sixth and eighth-place finishes, respectively, in the decathlon at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.  The 1996 national championship was in Naperville, Ill., and the 1997 event in La Crosse, Wis.
