Eligibility:                   Open to members all intercollegiate teams and invited unattached athletes. 

 

Entry                           Must be received by Noon on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008

Please Read:             Be sure to Declare your entries by Noon on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008 by selecting the declare button at the bottom of the entry page.  Undeclared entries will not be recognized by Hy-Tek and thus, will not be entered in the meet.  Please enter honest “estimates” rather than “nt” or “nm”.  You must include a working phone number or e-mail so if we have questions about your entries or other meet matters – we can contact you.  Any entries that are unclear and we cannot make contact with you, will be scratched.  

 

Entry Limit:                None.  You may run more than one relay team per event.

 

Entry Fee:                  $150.00 Per Team ($300.00 Men & Women combined)

                                    Individual Entries - $25.00 – are permitted

                                    Please make all checks payable to Carthage College

 

Scratches:                 Scratches only on day of meet.  No additions!

 

Info Packets:             Pick up (and pay fees) upon arrival at finish clerk’s table near finish line.                 

 

Track:                         6-Lane 200 meter Martin 2000 surface.  HJ / LJ/ TJ surface is same as track.

 

Spikes:                       1/8” or 3/16” are maximum allowed.  Shoes will be checked!

 

Timing:                       Finish Lynx and NCAA rules will govern the meet.

 

Weigh-In:                   Throwing implements must be weighed in (at venue) between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. 

Any and all illegal implements will be impounded until completion of the event(s).

 

Results:                      Available at conclusion of the meet, and posted on results board after each event. 

Results will also be posted on our web-site (www.carthage.edu).

 

NCAA Qualifiers:      Coaches are responsible for securing all data for entering his/her national meet qualifiers.

 

Dressing Rooms:      Available on lower level of TARC.  Please provide your own towels and locks.

 

Trainers:                    Certified athletic training staff will be available throughout the meet.

TRIPLE JUMP                                   (to follow completion of long jump)

SHOT PUT                                         (to follow completion of weight throw – m/w)

All events run as sections against time.  Fast sections will run first!        

Women first, followed by men – unless stated otherwise.
