To reach that facility, follow I-294 south to Grand Avenue east. Turn left at North Lewis Avenue, and the course is located at 2800 North Lewis Ave.
Sept. 6 at the North Central (Ill.) “Fall Classic”: The North Central College “Fall Classic” will be played at the Cress Creek Country Club in Naperville, Ill. To reach that facility, follow I-294 around Chicago, Ill. Exit I-294 at I-88 (East-West Tollway). Exit I-88 at Illinois Highway 59 south. Turn left at North Aurora Road, which becomes West Ogden Avenue. Turn left at Royal St. George Drive, and the Cress Creek Country Club is on the left.
Sept. 8 at the Augustana (Ill.) “Fall Classic:” The Augustana College (Ill.) “Fall Classic” will be played at the Emeis Park Golf Course in Davenport, Iowa. To reach that facility, follow I-294 past Chicago. Exit I-294 at I-88 west (East-West Tollway). Exit I-88 at I-74 west. Follow I-74 west toward Bettendorf, Iowa and cross the Mississippi River. Exit I-74 at East Kimberly Road. Follow Kimberly Road pass U.S. Highway 61 for about five miles and turn left at North Fairmount Street. Turn right at West Central Park Avenue, and the course is located at 4500 W. Central Park Avenue.
Sept. 10-11 at the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational: The Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational will be played at the Oshkosh Country Club in Oshkosh, Wis. To reach that facility, take I-94 north to Milwaukee. Exit I-94 at I-894 around the city, and exit I-894 at U.S. 41 north to Oshkosh. Exit U.s. 41 at County Road N, which becomes Fisk Avenue in Oshkosh. Turn left at U.S. Highway 45 north or Fond du Lac Road. Turn left at West Ripple Avenue, and the course is on the corner.
Sept. 17-18 at the Illinois Wesleyan “Fall Classic”: The Illinois Wesleyan University “Fall Classic” will be played at the Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Ill. To reach that course, take I-94 south toward Chicago and follow I-294 around the city. Exit I-294 at I-55 south. Exit I-55 at Veterans Parkway just north of Bloomington. Veterans Parkway merges into County Road 31. Take a slight left onto the I-55 Business Route and follow the signs for Illinois State University and Normal, Ill. Turn right at East Raab Road. Turn right again at North Towanda Avenue, and Ironwood Golf Course is at 1901 N. Towanda Avenue.
Sept. 19 at the Elmhurst “Bluejay Invitational: The Elmhurst “Bluejay Invitational” will be played at the Oak Brook Golf Course To reach that course, follow I-294 around Chicago. Exit I-294 at I-88 west (East-West Tollway). Exit I-88 at the 22nd Street/Oak Brook exit. Go west on 22nd Street and go south on York Road to golf course.
Sept. 28 at the Carthage Fall Invitational: The Carthage College Fall Invitational will be played at The Club at Strawberry Creek in Kenosha, Wis. To reach that facility from Kenosha, follow Wisconsin Highway 50 west one and one-half miles west of I-94. The course is on the right.
Sept. 30 at the St. Francis (Ill.) Fall Invitational: TBA.
Oct. 6-8 at the CCIW Women’s Golf Championship: Augustana College (Ill.) is the host school for the 2011-12 CCIW Women's Golf Championship, which will be played at the Emeis Park Municipal Golf Course (563-326-7825) in Davenport, Iowa. To reach that facility, follow I-294 south around Chicago. Exit I-294 at I-88 west and follow to the Quad Cities area. Exit I-88 at I-74/80 west toward Des Moines, Iowa. Follow I-74/80 across the Mississippi River, go past the exit for I-74 south into Bettendorf, Iowa, and exit I-80 at U.S. Highway 61 south into Davenport. Turn right at West Central Park Avenue, and the course is at 4500 W. Central Park Avenue, just past Hickory Grove Road.
