Spring Trip--March 14-21: The team will leave campus on Saturday, March 6 and fly from Mitchell Field in Milwaukee, Wis., via Southwest Airlines flight #783, leaving at 9:30 a.m., CST and arriving in Orlando, Fla., at 1:10 p.m., EST. The team will stay at the Royale Parc Suites in Kissimmee, Fla. (5876 West Bronson Memorial Highway, 407-396-8040) from March 6-12 and return to Milwaukee via flight #1085, leaving Orlando on March 13 at 8:05 a.m., EDT and arriving in Milwaukee at 10:05 a.m., CDT. The "Rebel Games" are played at the Osceola County Softball Complex on Bermuda Avenue in Orlando. To reach the complex from the southbound Florida Turnpike, exit at U.S. Highways 17/92/441 south (Exit 254). Go past Florida Highway 536 and go past Osceola Parkway. Turn right at Florida Highway 192 and turn right again at Bermuda Ave. The complex is on the left. From the northbound Florida Turnpike, exit at Florida Highway 192 west (exit 242). Go past U.S. Highways 17/92/441 and turn right on Bermuda Ave.
March 20-21 at the Webster Classic: Webster University plays its home softball schedule at Blackburn Park in St. Louis, Mo., about a half-mile south of campus. To reach that facility, follow I-294 around Chicago. Exit I-294 at I-55 south to St. Louis. Follow I-55 across the Mississippi River into St. Louis and take I-44 west (exit #207) from I-55. Exit I-44 at Shrewsbury Avenue (exit #283). Keep right off the ramp to reach Shrewsbury Avenue and turn right at Murdoch Avenue. Take a slight left to South Laclede Station Road. Turn right at Jackson Road, and Blackburn Park is at the corner of Jackson and Edgar Roads.
April 6 at North Park: To reach North Park University in Chicago, follow I-94 toward Chicago. Exit at Cicero Avenue and turn left at first light (Foster Avenue). Follow Foster Avenue about two miles to reach the campus, which is at the corner of Foster and Kedzie Avenue. The Holmgren Athletic Complex is two blocks beyond campus on the right.
April 9 at Wheaton: To reach Wheaton College (Ill.) in Wheaton, Ill., follow I-294 to I-88 (East-West Tollway). Exit at Naperville Road and go left at the bottom of the ramp. Follow Naperville Road north for approximately six miles to Roosevelt Road and turn right. Turn left at Chase Street (no signal or stop sign), which comes before the next signal light at President Street. Cross railroad tracks and go past the football field is on the right. Go through one stop sign, and Leedy Field is on the right.
April 13 at Illinois Wesleyan: To reach Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Ill., take I-55 south to Bloomington, Ill. Exit on Business U.S. 51 south and go past Illinois State University. Turn left on Emerson Street and cross westbound U.S. 51 to Illinois Wesleyan campus. The softball field is behind the Shirk Athletic Center, north of Wesleyan Field and east of Franklin Boulevard.
April 22 at Carroll (Wis.): To reach Carroll University in Waukesha, Wis., take I-94 west through Milwaukee. Exit at Wisconsin Highway 164, which will become E. North Street) in Waukesha. Follow North Street for three traffic lights and turn left at Barstow. Follow Barstow for about 12 blocks, and Van Male Field, Carroll's football and soccer field will be on the right. Alternatively, exit I-94 at U.S. Highway 18 (East Moreland Blvd.). Follow Moreland, and where the road splits, follow the left fork (East Main Street). Turn left on North East Avenue and right on College Street. Jean Kilgour Field is on the corner of College Street and Grand Avenue.
April 29 at Millikin: Millikin University plays its home softball schedule at Rotary Park in Decatur, Ill. To reach that facility, follow I-294 around Chicago. Exit I-294 at I-55 south to Bloomington, Ill. Exit I-55 at U.S. 51 south to Decatur, Ill. Follow Business U.S. 51 through and past downtown Decatur. Go past Lake Decatur on the south side of town and follow the signs for Pana, Ill. The complex is on the left, about one mile past Lake Decatur.
