Linda Rikli, 78’, who holds Carthage records in both the one-meter and three-meter diving events, finished ninth in the three-meter diving event at the 1977 Association of  Intercollegiate Athletics for Women at Clarion University.  Rikli was named AIAW All-American.  In 1978, Rikli finished 16th in the one-meter and 24th in the three-meter at the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at Brenau College in Gainesville, Ga.

 

Jennifer Garrison won the 1999 CCIW title in the 100  backstroke to become Carthage's first-ever individual women's winner at the CCIW meet.  She was the conference runner-up in the same event in both 1997 and 1998 and finished second in the 1999 200 backstroke.
