Becky Rucks, 1985-88

Becky Rucks, a 1988 NCAA Division III All-America with a second-place finish in the shot put at the NCAA Division III Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championship.  Rucks preceded that  with a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships and was named United States Track Coaches Association All-America.

 

Melissa Todd1994-97

Melissa Todd, was first named NCAA Division III All-America with a second-place finish in the 1,500-meter run at the 1996 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.  Todd won the event the next year and earned her second-straight NCAA Division III All-America honors .  She was also named United States Track Coaches Association All-America with an eighth-place finish in the 800-meter run at the 1996 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships.

 

Kim Deaton, 1997-2000

Kim Deaton, a four-time NCAA Division III All-America with a sixth-place finish in the 1997 javelin, a seventh-place finish in the 1998 heptathlon, a third-place finish in the 1999 heptathlon and seventh-place finish in the 2000 javelin at the NCAA Division III Women's Track and Field Championship.  She was also named a GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-America two straight years, second-team in 1999 and first-team in 2000.

 

Tina Moran, 1998-2000, 2002

Tina Moran earned NCAA Division III All-America honors in 2000  with a second-place finish in the heptathlon at the NCAA Division III Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championship

 

Becki Schmitz, 1999-2002

Becki Schmitz was a five-time NCAA All-America.  She won a national title in the 20-pound weight throw at the 2002 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship and was named United States Track Coaches Association “Women’s Indoor Performer of the Year.”  She also earned NCAA All-America honors with a third-place finish in the discus and a sixth-place finish in the hammer at the 2001 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship, a seventh-place finish in the discus at the 2000 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship and with an eighth-place showing in the hammer throw at the 1999 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship.  Over the course of her four-year career, Schmitz won nine CCIW outdoor titles and two indoor championships.

 

Latrice Powell, 2000-03

Latrice Powell was a four-time NCAA All-America, finishing seventh in the 400-meter dash at the 2003 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship, fifth as part of a 1,600-meter relay team at the same event, first place as part of a national-championship 400-meter relay team at the 2003 outdoor championship and seventh in the 1,600-meter relay, also at the 2003 outdoor championship.

 

Keya Willis, 2000-03

Keya Willis was named an NCAA All-America twice in 2002, the first with a fourth-place finish in the 55-meter dash at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship and the second as part of a seventh-place team in the outdoor 400-meter relay.

 

Caretha Carroll, 2002-05

Caretha Carroll earned NCAA All-America honors four-straight years as part of a 200-meter relay team that finished seventh at the 2002 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship, first in 2003, seventh in 2004 and second in 2005.

 

Veronica Hunter, 2002-05

Veronica Hunter earned NCAA All-America honors as part of a 400-meter relay team that finished seventh nationally in 2002 and second in 2005.  Hunter was also part of fourth-place team in the 1,600-meter relay at the 2002 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship.

 

Muffy Israel, 2002-05

Muffy Israel earned NCAA All-America citations in 17 events over her four-year career.  As a freshman in 2002, she won the NCAA Division III national title in the outdoor 100-meter dash, while finishing fifth in the 200-meter dash, seventh as part of a 400-meter relay team, fifth in the indoor 55-meter dash  and fourth on the indoor 1,600-meter relay team.  In 2003,she was third in the 100-meter dash, eighth in the 200-meter dash, a member of a national-championship 400-meter relay team, fourth in the indoor 55-meter dash and fifth as a member of the indoor 1,600-meter relay team.  In 2004, Israel was the national runner-up in the 100-meter dash while finishing fifth in the 200-meter dash, seventh as part of a 400-meter relay team and second in the indoor 55-meter dash.  As a senior in 2005, she finished fifth in the 100-meter dash, second as a member of the 400-meter relay team and fifth in the indoor 55-meter dash.  Israel also won 16 individual CCIW titles, including four-straight titles in the outdoor 100-meter dash, four-straight titles in the outdoor 200-meter dash, four titles in the indoor 55-meter dash and three indoor titles in the 200-meter dash.  She was named the “most valuable performer” at the 2005 CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.

 

Shea’na Grigsby, 2003-06

Shea’na Grigsby won eight national championships over her four-year career, including three-straight titles in the outdoor 100-meter high hurdles from 2004 to 2006, three-consecutive titles in the indoor 55-meter high hurdles from 2004 to 2006 and  the 2006 title in the 440-meter intermediate hurdles.  She was also part of national-championship 400-meter relay team in 2003.  She earned 17 NCAA All-America citations, 12 outdoors and five indoors.  She was named United States Track Coaches Association “NCAA Division III Women’s Outdoor Performer of the Year” in 2004 and CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship MVP in 2003, 2005 and 2006.
