Beth Nienhuis (left), the CCIW's "Most Outstanding Volleyball Player" in 1990 and a two-time American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Midwest Regional honoree.  Nienhuis was named All-CCIW four times, second-team in 1988 and 1989 and first-team in 1990 and 1991.  She is Carthage's career leader in kills (1,434)  and block solos (440) and ranked third in digs (1,183).  She holds Lady Reds season records for hitting percentage (.310 in 1989), attack attempts per game (9.7 in 1991), kills (542 in 1991), kills per game (4.9 in 1991), block solos (171 in 1988), blocks per game (2.74 in 1991) and  total blocks (304 in 1991).  Nienhuis was inducted into the Carthage Athletic Hall of Fame in 1996.

 

Robyn Schenk, second-team All-CCIW three times from 1993 to 1995.  Schenk is ranked ninth on the Carthage career kills list (900), fourth in assists (2,279) and  first in service aces (250).  Schenk was inducted into the Carthage Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007.

 

Mary Schwartz, second-team All-CCIW three times from 1993 to 1995.  Schwartz is ranked eighth on the Carthage career kills list (905).

 

Tiffany Thorsell was named All-CCIW three times over her four-year career, honorable mention and CCIW Newcomer of the Year in 2003, second-team All-CCIW in 2004 and first-team all-conference in 2006.  Thorsell is ranked sixth on the Carthage career kills list (1,014), fourth in block solos (186), second in block assists (383) and second in total blocks (568).  She is only the sixth Carthage player to reach the 1,000-kill level.
