Courtney McNeal is the Hall Director for Johnson Hall and the Director of Community Service and Leadership Development. Courtney is originally from Willits, California and made her way to the Midwest by attending Ripon College. As an undergrad at Ripon, Courtney played varsity soccer, swam on the varsity swim team, was active in student government, and the programming board. She was also a member of the Orientation Committee, Alpha Delta Pi sorority and was also an RA. She received her undergraduate degree in history with a minor in educational studies. After completing her student teaching, Courtney decided to try out a full-time career in Higher Education. Courtney moved from Ripon, Wisconsin to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to work as a Resident Director at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. While in Marquette, she advised Primetime Productions, the programming board for the Housing and Residence Life Department, and the hall government for Van Antwerp Hall. Courtney studied Psychology as well as Training and Development during her time at Northern Michigan University.

Courtney is very excited to at Carthage College and to be back in Wisconsin after three years in the UP. In her spare time she enjoys knitting, baking, reading and swimming. She also enjoys playing cribbage and Euchre. She is looking forward to living and working with the students of Carthage this upcoming year.
