Greek Life at Carthage

Carthage is currently home to 15 local and nationally affiliated sororities and fraternities. Approximately 20 percent of Carthage students are involved in a Greek social organization. Each chapter is listed below with their nickname in parentheses.

Spring 2012 Recruitment

Students who are second-semester freshmen or above are eligible to participate in a sorority or fraternity recruitment this spring.

Sorority recruitment will take place Feb. 13-20, 2012. Women interested in participating in spring recruitment can sign up between Feb. 6 and Feb. 10, 2012, at the cafe tables during lunch and dinner hours, or by following the link below:

There is a mandatory orientation session for all potential new sorority members Sunday, Feb. 12, in the Todd Wehr Center. More information will be provided upon sign-up.

Fraternity recruitment is Feb. 3-11, 2012. Here is a schedule of fraternity recruiting events:

  • Feb. 4: Delta Upsilon
  • Feb. 6: Delta Omega Nu
  • Feb. 7: Beta Phi Epsilon
  • Feb. 8: Tau Sigma Chi
