Health Insurance

All full-time students are provided with secondary health insurance by Carthage College. Students do not need to sign up for the insurance or pay a premium. The insurance pays eligible expenses secondary to a student's family or personal insurance.

For questions about this health insurance, contact the nurse at the Health and Counseling Center, (262) 551-5710.

For the secondary insurance to apply, a referral from the Health and Counseling Center for off-campus treatment is required. During business hours, students may visit the Health and Counseling Center to obtain family insurance information and a referral. If the Health and Counseling Center is closed, students may obtain family insurance information from the security office. Then, students should visit the Health and Counseling Center during open hours to complete a college insurance claim form. Medical bills cannot be submitted if a college insurance claim form is not completed.
