Campus Security

The Carthage Security Departments mission statement is, "To protect the assets of this campus, the single most important asset is the students, by encouraging a safe and secure environment to learn, live and work."

Carthage College Security operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Security responds to medical emergencies, vehicle accidents, reports of theft, lost and found property, and other service requests concerning safety and security of our campus community. Security officers are trained and certified in first aid, CPR, and the use of Automatic External Defibrillators. The ultimate goal of the Security Department is to promote a safe environment in which our community members can live and learn during their tenure at Carthage.
