We're kicking off the spring term with a new home page for the Carthage community. This is the web page that you'll see when you go to www.carthage.edu from anywhere on campus.
It's your bridge to My.Carthage.edu, and your bridge to everything you need to know about what's happening on campus — from the week's events, to the day's weather, to what's on the menu in the Caf. We've also included quick links to eRacer, the library, the Registrar's Office, and other campus resources.
The features on this page were requested by members of the Carthage community. The Web Development Team spent several months talking with Carthage students, faculty and staff about what they'd like in a campus home page. We hope this new page helps keep you informed about all the great things happening where we study, live and work.

Fast My.Carthage log-in. We know you're busy, so we won't waste your time. You can log into My.Carthage and eRacer right from the campus home page. Simply type in your user name and password, and click on the My.Carthage or eRacer button. We've also added a quick link to Carthage email.

Campus news and events. Find news about what's happening on campus, from interviews with your classmates to articles about faculty and interesting classes. Have a story idea, or want to submit an event to our calendar? You can submit your news right from The Bridge. (You'll need your Novell user name and password to log in.)
Live streaming events. Can't make it to a Carthage sporting event? Watch the Red Men and Lady Reds at live.carthage.edu. The Bridge lists upcoming streaming events under "Watch."
Easy access to the Faculty Home Page. Faculty can click on "For Faculty" in the left menu to jump to the Faculty Home Page, which houses resources important for faculty including forms, calendars and committee information. (Log-in required.)
Cafeteria menu. Don't miss another Chili Dog Day. One click from The Bridge gets you to the week's Caf menu.
The weather. It’s cold. Now you know exactly how cold — and how cold it's going to be tomorrow, and the next day ...

Quick links to campus resources. The left menu lists the items you asked for most: a link to Carthage's main home page, the Athletics website, the Bookstore, the Library, and more. We've also added links to additional campus resources at the bottom of the page. Did we miss something? Let us know. Send an email to eyoung@carthage.edu.
Carthage is Awesome. This
is a brand new blog started by Carthage Hall Director Courtney Drew. Every day, she'll add another reason why it's awesome to be part of the Carthage community. Submissions come from Carthage students, faculty and staff. Carthage
is Awesome was inspired by Neil Pasricha's blog, 1000 Awesome Things,
and his Book of Awesome. Learn more.
From the Vault. Carthage is 165 years old this year. To celebrate, we'll dig up a piece of the past each week. "From the Vault" will feature a photograph and short article about Carthage's history, courtesy of Abbi Brown in the Staubitz Archives.
Gloat. OK, OK, we're being bold here. But we think Carthage is a pretty fantastic place, so we're devoting a section of the site to sharing good news. Tell your friends. Tell your mom.
