Campus Life

At Carthage, students are not only encouraged to develop themselves intellectually, but also socially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Opportunities and services are available to Carthage students who wish pursue any one or many interests.

Students can get to know each other, exchange ideas, or just socialize in one of the popular gathering places, such as WOH's Place. Whether students choose to live in the residence halls or commute to Carthage, many friendships begin through involvement in campus activities.

Popular student activities include live entertainment and films, as well as special events orgainized by the Student Activities Board or one of the many student organizations on campus.

First year students are given special academic attention by the Advising Center. Assistance in career planning and placement are provided to students by the Career Center throughout their years at Carthage.

Chapel services are held three times each week and highlight the connections between life and faith. Additional opportunities for worship and religious exploration are provided through the Chapel Office and various religious life programs.
