Welcome all new and returning students
This on-line handbook is a guide to student life at Carthage. It contains policies which
govern the community in which you will be living and working as well as, information about student
clubs and organizations. This handbook is a key to an orderly environment in which you can grow and
succeed - in mind, body and spirit.
The College years typically provide some of the most vivid memories of our lives. I sincerely hope
that the Carthage memories you are making now will enrich and inspire you for many years to come.
Those who participate in diverse activities derive the most from the college experience. The sheer fun
and joy of life come from being active and engaged in one's surroundings. While you are at Carthage, I hope
you will create many happy memories for yourself and your friends.
Please take a few moments to read through this handbook. Get to know your fellow students through clubs
and organizations, and, of course, become familiar with the Community Code. Make Carthage your own.
