Paul Lidy is the Denhart Hall Director and Director of Student Activities at Carthage. Paul oversees the daily operations and resident assistant staff of Denhart Hall and advises and supervises campus programming (Homecoming, Family Weekend, Senior Week) as well as advises Carthage's Activities Board. Paul comes to Carthage College after spending several years being involved in residence life and student activities at Millikin University, Western Illinois University, and Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH). Paul received his Bachelor of Art degree in Communication at Millikin University and received his Masters degree in College Student Personnel at Western Illinois University. At Western Illinois University, Paul worked in the Student Assistance Center, Student Activities (Leadership Programs and Student Organization Services) and University Housing in the International House. While at Case Western Reserve University, Paul served as an ACUHO-I Intern for the department of Housing, Residence Life, and Greek Life. Paul is a member of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, National Association of Campus Activities, National Residence Hall Honorary, Phi Kappa Phi, and the American College Personnel Association. Other than walks along the beach, Paul enjoys a good laugh and some high quality lounging time. When Paul isn’t lounging around, he enjoys working out, cooking, watching movies, and spending time with his family, especially his wife Sarah and their dog Phoebe. |
