Being a Good Intern
- Use good judgment. Think before speaking and acting. Consider
carefully whether to act independently or ask for help.
- Express a positive attitude and a desire to learn.
- Show respect for co-workers, superiors, and clients.
- Exhibit initiative. Seek challenges and new ways to learn.
- Discuss problems as they arise. If the problem is on-site,
speak directly with your on-site supervisor. If the problem is
with the internship design and placement speak with your faculty
sponsor or the Carthage Career Services Director.
