The College
Pastor
As a college of the Christian tradition affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Carthage seeks to provide opportunities for men and women to serve others in the world and the church.
The mission of the college makes it implicit that opportunities be provided for both students and faculty to explore and share faith perspectives to life. While the Christian faith is essential to the identity and heritage of Carthage, our Lutheran tradition also grants the freedom to examine other spiritual values and practices and to understand the wide diversity of religious choices available to students today.
Opportunities for worship are provided as part of the Chapel Series and also on Sunday evenings at an 8:45 p.m. Mass coordinated by the Roman Catholic lay minister with area priests.
