BRIDGES
TO PEACE
On
Mondays, the students, faculty, and staff of Carthage College
are invited to lead
reflections, discussions,
or demonstrations of how they envision the many bridges to
peace. From the perspective of our respective faiths,
cultures, and academic disciplines, how do we seek peace in
ourselves, in our communities and in our world?
Please
call Pastor Stephens at 262-551-5812 or e-mail hstephens@carthage.edu
in the Chapel Office to offer your leadership in this
endeavor. After a brief consultation, Pastor Stephens will
schedule your presentation and promote your participation
in this exciting series, BRIDGES TO PEACE.

MORNING
PRAYER 10:30-10:55 a.m.
On
Wednesdays the Dean of Siebert Chapel gathers the campus community
to focus on the message of Christ and the power of faith in
the world today. This morning prayer service reflects
the themes of the church year and features the best of Lutheran
traditions spiced with an ecumenical flavor.

INVITATION
TO MEDITATION
On
Fridays we create an environment in Siebert Chapel for quiet
meditation that becomes a safe space for introspection,
reflection, and prayer. Soothing music invites
the Carthage community to listen for the still small voice
that whispers to the human spirit: For God alone my
soul in silence waits. (Psalm 62:5)
